Signs of the Times

This powerful message confronts us with an urgent truth: Jesus Christ is returning, and we must be ready. Drawing from Matthew 24, we're reminded that while no one knows the exact day or hour, Jesus gave us clear signs to recognize the season of His return. We're living in a generation witnessing unprecedented fulfillment of biblical prophecy—from the rebirth of Israel as a nation in 1948 (the fig tree bearing fruit) to the rapid succession of global crises, wars, earthquakes, persecution of believers, and moral decay. The message isn't meant to frighten us but to awaken us to reality: birth pains are intensifying, coming faster and more frequently, signaling that the delivery is near. What's striking is Jesus' parable of the ten virgins—all knew the bridegroom was coming, all were waiting, but only half were truly ready when he arrived. The others were caught 'getting ready' instead of being ready. This challenges us to examine our hearts today: Are we truly born again? Have we confessed Jesus as Lord and believed God raised Him from the dead? Beyond our own readiness, we're called to urgent action—sharing this life-saving truth with everyone we encounter. The world is ripe for harvest, and we may be the only Jesus some people ever see. Eternity hangs in the balance, and we cannot afford to be silent about the greatest gift ever given.
