New Year, same God: Don Allen

Dec 28, 2025    Don Allen

This message invites us into a powerful understanding of the Hebraic year 5786—a prophetic season of divine connection between heaven and earth, established through the words we speak. We're reminded that everything God created came into being through speaking, and as image-bearers made in His likeness, we carry that same creative authority. The central revelation here is that our words aren't just expressions of emotion or information, they're bridges that bring heavenly realities into earthly manifestations. Drawing from Matthew 8:16 where Jesus cast out spirits with a word, and 1 John 5:14-15 about asking according to God's will, we see that confident declaration rooted in Scripture releases tremendous power. The enemy has worked overtime to make speaking God's promises seem weird, extreme, or new-agey, when in reality it's the most biblical thing we can do. This year represents harvest time, seeds planted in previous seasons are ready to be reaped, but we must open our mouths with expectation. The message challenges us to stop living moment-to-moment and instead establish a habitation for continual visitation of God's presence. We're called to examine what we've been saying about our lives, health, finances, and families, because we truly do have what we say. It's time to cancel subscriptions to old narratives, speak life over dead situations, and walk as the ambassadors we are backed by all of heaven's authority.
