Building a Foundation for Healing Faith

What if the very foundation of our faith in healing is simpler than we have been making it? This session takes us back to the basics, revealing that faith is not some mysterious quantity we either have enough of or do not. Drawing from Luke 17, where the disciples asked for more faith and were told that even mustard-seed-sized faith is sufficient, we discover that the starting point is not a grand declaration but a simple, unwavering trust in a God for whom nothing is impossible. From there, Romans 10:17 anchors everything: faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. That means the thoughts we allow in, the reports we accept, and the voices we tune into are either building our faith or quietly dismantling it. The word of God is not just inspirational literature; according to Proverbs 4:20-22, it is medicine to our flesh. When we let that truth sink in, everything about how we approach sickness, doubt, and prayer begins to shift. This is a message about getting back to the foundations that make faith not just possible but natural.
